Where can you go to look up these words?  Did you try a dictionary?
Did you try the "glossary" of a biology textbook?  What is a biology
textbook?  Is it the same thing as a life science textbook?  What is a
textbook?  Where would you find one?
See if you can answer the follow questions?

There are many flowers in this picture.  I can see yellow,
red, pink, and violet?  Can you find them?  I can find 25
(twenty-five) yellow flowers.  How many can you find?
How many pink flowers? How many violet flowers?  How
many red flowers? How many different kinds of green
leaves?

These flowers are kinds of green plants that use their
green leaves to capture sunlight energy and Carbon
Dioxide from the air to make sugar.  The many colors of
flowers attract birds and bees and insects.  They carry
golden pollen from flower to flower so that the flowers can
make seeds.  The seeds will fall on the ground and grow
new plants that will grow their own leaves and flowers.
The sciences that study this are called "Life Sciences."
When the seeds sprout in the ground, we call it
"germination."
