Immanuel Kant found four basic contradictory statements:
There is an idealistic being, a necessary being, a Platonic reality (a
notion characteristic of the classical, the idealistic temper) or there
is none (characteristic of the pragmatic, vulgar, expressionist
temper). (Wind Trigram, Air Primary to Thunder Trigram and Dust

There is a simple mind, soul monad of phenomenological
primitiveness (a notion characteristic of the impressionistic and
manneristic tempers) or there is none (a notion of the nationalistic,

trigrams and Scholarship is the short yin bottom lines of the
Mountain, Wind, Water Pit, and Earth trigrams. Phenomenology

is the Water Pit opposite of Flame, and Literature is the Lake
Trigram opposite of Mountain. Each trigram is the corner of a
grand cube, face of a grand octahedron, and each trigram line is
the face of a grand cube, corner-vertex of a grand octahedron.
