I am a former college biology
professor. I have taught botany,
biology, ecology, physiological
chemistry, and zoology at the
freshman college level.
I have taught freshman and upper
division classes in philosophy and
comparative religion. I have been
a teaching fellow in botany, at
UCLA, in history, at the
University of Houston, in
philosophy at the State University
of New York at Albany.
I passed the doctoral writtens in
botany and biology at UCLA in
1962 and finished all the course
work on the Ph.D, but ended up
starting up a nursing chemistry
and nursing physiology program
for a community college branch of
the state university of NY. My
interest in neurology found me
doing work in the philosophy of
mind at SUNY Albany, and that
led to Buddhist philosophy.
Later, I passed the CPA exam,
became a government auditor and
supervisory auditor for DCAA.
From there, I got a MA in
counseling psychology and
passed the counseling and
substance abuse examinations for
the Arizona Board.
I followed this up by doing studies
in hypnosis under a professor at
Stanford, ending up in a strange
organization doing work in this
area out in Concord, CA.
From here I went into education,
got my credential in School
Psychology. I am currently
President of the Kern County
Association of School
Psychologists.
I have been taking courses in art,
ceramics, sculpture, painting,
photography at Cal State
Bakersfield for the last five years.
My goal is to put it all together, to
paint the big picture that allows
the mind to merge with the larger
world: Hypnosis, Neurology,
Nature, etc., etc.
